This is a private, independent, not-for-profit pediatric medical center. Infants, children and teens from throughout East Tennessee, southeast Kentucky and southwest Virginia receive treatment and care here for a wide range of childhood illnesses and injuries. Physicians in 27 pediatric subspecialties are on staff at Children's Hospital.

YWCA Divorcing Parenting Program
Certified through Knox County Fourth Circuit Court. It is a 12-hour parent education course which meets once a week, three hours per night for four weeks. The goals of the YWCA Divorcing Parenting Program are to provide parents with an opportunity to think about issues surrounding divorce, to learn new skills for negotiation, and to prepare to avoid a negative divorce experience for themselves and their children. Through this program, the goal is to reduce conflict and stress, enhance communication, foster closer relationships between parents and children, and achieve better adjustment throughout the different stages of the divorce process.
